It has been a great year as President of the ECAR Board. I have learned so much about what ECAR does to benefit all of its members. I appreciate the enormous support from all of the other Board members and staff.
After years of careers in Iowa and Oklahoma in radio, public relations, social marketing, special event planning and other business adventures, I never dreamed of being a REALTOR. Then I came to Angel Fire on a whim with a friend to learn fly fishing. Four days later, I went back to Tulsa and announced to friends and family that I was closing my business and moving to the Enchanted Circle. A week later, I was back looking at ways I might make a living in New Mexico. A very smart broker suggested I might like real estate. She was right! Now, that woman, Lisa Mitchell, and I have been partners for more than 5 years.
It seems that there are always changes coming our way as brokers, and maybe never so much more than now. My wish for you all: Smooth sailing in 2026, easy transitions into changes and that you take advantage of all ECAR has to offer. Ho Ho Ho and Happy New Year!!
